When Ned flushed the pain killers I actually started crying. I've been there. I have friends that are still in addiction. I'm so happy for him; flushing them away is such a victory, and I'm incredibly proud.

Septic arthritis is no joke! Knee pain from surgery ( from experience) is the worst for about 24 to 36 hours, then blissful recovery starts. I had badly torn cartilage from a simple sideways slip on ice. Not from any of the spectacular bike falls of my younger days but the wretched ice. I knew I was in trouble that night comparing the two knees and one was about 50% larger than the other. SO, know what you felt from ALL that infection and loss of cartilage. Wise decision.

You're not suppose to flush medications down the toilet since it can affect the water when dissolved. You're suppose to bring it back to the pharmacy for disposal.

I took a lot of oxycodone while going through chemotherapy. I’m a person who refuses all drugs, even getting me to take prescribed opioids was hard. I only took my chemotherapy drugs daily.

As a 16 year old, the word “opioid” was always scary to me. So I tried to avoid them even when my doctor said okay to it.

I finally broke down and took one after coming off of steroids for the first time and suffered withdrawals. My skin was extremely tender, my belly hurt so bad that I cried and couldn’t sleep, and my skin looked dirty. I took the opioid once and I finally could sleep.

I refused to just cut off the steroid from that point on, I asked to wean it off.

I am 16 years old and have knee problems that I can not really do anything about.
I have these problems because I am hypermobile and my ligaments do not hold my bones together. I was born with it and it has become worse over the years, in addition I have x-legs.
If I walk too long or even stand up they start to hurt and I can not help but wear bandages and that does not bring much.
I just wanted to say that.
But I am glad that you have no more problems and can play with your baby. And I hope you have much fun with your child and be a good parent 👍
